Convection has scaled back in the south; more activity expected over Kerala, Tamil Nadu and A.P. between Thu-Sat. This agrees with IMD discussions. Overall the monsoon has been off to a favorable start; however, I still have concerns for NW.

The National Hurricane Center has stated that the system moving over the central Caribbean has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours. Updates will be posted as necessary.
