Short-Term OJ forecast verifies
Last week, Orange juice futures moved higher on speculation that a coming freeze in FL would significantly affect the crop. At the time, we stated that while temperatures in Polk County were forecast to drop below freezing, it was unlikely that they would have been low enough for a long enough period in order to contribute to crop damage. Today, as the forecast was realized, the market responded accordingly.
